Parents Laurie and Colby and Family for creating this year’s incredible Haunted House, Parents Lee and Corrina for helping with the Haunted Displays, Student Victoria and her team for organizing the school dance, Teacher Mr. Paul for DJ’ing the dance, Parents Carley and Lyndsay and The Library Bee Workers who came in full force to help shelve our new books, our fundraising parents for continuing to explore initiatives to help generate funds for our program, Teacher Ms. Wendy, Student Speakers and Performers and Tagh Singh and Family for putting on a thoughtful and solemn Remembrance Day Assembly.

School Council Meeting
Everyone Welcome! Thursday, November 21 from 10-11:00 a.m. in the Family Flex Room. We will send out a TEAMS link the morning of for those wanting to join virtually. School Council Agenda on the School Council page.

Grade 9 Parents – High School Transition for parents/guardians of a Grade 9 student!
This really is a Must-Attend meeting. November 19 or 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12: 00 noon. Irene Welch, High School Guidance Counsellor, will be here to walk you through the process of registering from CBE Home Education into High School - transfer process, online options, complimentary courses, special programs and more!
Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser
You are welcome to participate in the CBE home Education Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser. Please email Christa Patzer, parent volunteer, with your questions. A note from Christa: "If you haven't purchased your Purdy's chocolate for our CBE Home Education fundraiser yet don't sweat, the deadline to order is December 1. Go to: fundraising.purdys.com and use the customer # 77336 to join our campaign.
- Monday Tuesday families can collect their orders on Dec. 17 between 9-10 am or 2:15-3:15 pm
- Wednesday Thursday families can collect their orders on Dec. 19 between 9-10am or 2:15-3:15 pm in the Family Flex Room.

Parent Workshop | Nov. 27
Wednesday, November 27 from 10-11:30 a.m. : How To Write a Homeschool Progress Report. Join Lyndsay and Carley, Homeschool Facilitators and Homeschool Parents, to learn how to best report on your child’s learning. Your Homeschool Progress Reports will be due to your Homeschool Facilitator on January 30, so come and get some help early and feel confident in your reporting.
