Fundraising Committee Meeting | September 28 9:30-10:15*   

Please join us for our first ever Fundraising Committee meeting! This initial meeting will be an informal, introductory meeting to identify interested members, define terms and goals, and answer questions. We will hold our AGM on November 2.  *Please note the new time of this meeting. Orange Shirt Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Please note, students will be participating in a variety of activities this week at school including learning about Orange Shirt Day and The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  If you are looking for learning and growth in your Home Education Plan, there are lots of great ideas for various age levels found here --> NCTR

Coffee and Conversation and Friday Meet Ups - Note from Sam. K...

Hello Windsor Park Families!  This year we are piloting a new community building project - Friday Meet-Ups! Windsor Park families are invited to gather once a month around a fire, on an adventure or for a collaborative project!  Our first meet-up will take place Sept 29 at 1pm at Sandy Beach at picnic site 1. Please see attached map. This is a fireside gathering, families are welcome to bring their own roasting sticks and snacks. No RSVP needed!  Our second meet-up will take place on October 13 at10 am at Ptarmigan Cirque for 3.4km hike. In order to safely accommodate our group, I am seeking volunteers to help lead. Families are required to RSVP. The September 18 Information Session couldn't take place due to an internet issue impacting more than 50 schools at the CBE.  We will let you know about a new date and time shortly.

Music Musings

We are very excited to begin our first music club this week! Grade 4/5 music club will run both Tuesday and Wednesday lunch times starting this week, September 26 and 27, and will each run for 5 weeks. Students will have the opportunity to play and create with a variety of Orff instruments and will look forward to sharing some of their creations near the end of our session (date and time TBD). Interested grade 4 and 5 students should eat lunch in the gym at their regular time and then proceed to Room 1 from 12:18 - 12:45.
